About the Role
The Shop Coordinator is one of the most important positions within our salon. As the first point of contact for our clients, you are responsible for creating an exceptional customer experience while ensuring the salon operates efficiently throughout the day.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment, enjoys multitasking, and can remain calm, organized, and professional under pressure.
The Shop Coordinator serves as the team's "captain," helping direct the daily flow of the salon, coordinating clients and technicians, and ensuring every guest receives outstanding service.
Responsibilities
Client Experience
- Welcome and greet every client with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Prepare and serve complimentary beverages, including coffee, tea, and other drinks.
- Regularly check on clients and ask if they would like a beverage or any additional assistance.
- Assist clients in selecting nail polish colors.
- Build positive relationships and deliver exceptional customer service.
Front Desk & Appointment Management
- Answer incoming phone calls professionally.
- Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments.
- Coordinate the daily client queue and assign clients to the appropriate nail technician.
- Ensure appointments run smoothly and efficiently throughout the day.
Salon Operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
- Ensure pedicure chairs are properly cleaned and sanitized by communicating with nail technicians between clients.
- Restock the beverage bar and coffee station
- Maintain inventory and create supply lists for beverages, coffee, and nail products.
- Assist the salon team with daily operational tasks as needed.

- Comfortable making decisions and solving problems quickly.

- Previous receptionist, hospitality, retail, or sales experience is preferred but not required.
- Availability to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
